La Raza captures the flag

Seeking a little background information from the Hispanic side of the illegal immigration issue, I went to the La Raza website. My attention was drawn immediately to their display of photos from many of the recent, massive public demonstrations.

I browsed from photo to photo, city by city, and — can you believe it? — not a single Mexican flag! Not one! Amazing. Many, many American flags, often featured very prominently in the foreground, but I couldn’t find even a tiny Mexican flag, anywhere.

How remarkably different from the pictures in the national media, where I saw hundreds, if not thousands of marchers in the same shot, and an overwhelming predominance of Mexican flags.

I congratulate La Raza on managing to find so many photos that didn’t show the omnipresent Mexican flags. It can’t have been as easy task.website stats
