So polite! But very interesting and on a high level. Good ideas, and thoughtful, in a calm environment. It is reminiscent of Charlie Rose’s show, which I don’t catch very often. I’d never thought of Canada having a poor attitude toward the environment. I thought it was more just a disinterest simply because you have such vast holdings of wilderness. It’s just not a big deal yet. But admittedly I have no idea what goes on the population centers. In any case, I found it very interesting and pleasant to watch. Thank you. All is not lost — at least not in Canadian TV.

I watched this tonight and thought you’d find it interesting… it’s a little low key — no one talking over everyone, no decent haircuts, just two Canadian intellectuals talking about diplomacy in the “digital age”, Canada’s foreign policy, Canada as a “war nation” and our craptastic environmental policies… including how our reaction to President Obama essentially stopping the Keystone pipeline forced him to reconsider fairly quickly.
