Today I dropped in the mail a form changing my political affiliation from Democrat to Independent (“Unaffiliated” in Colorado). Not that I’m fed up with the Dems, although I am. Not that I’m condoning what the Republicans are doing, because I don’t. But to express my total frustration with both major parties.

It was not a barbaric yawp but more the bleat of a lamb being led to slaughter. I’m too hoarse to yawp anymore. I’m angry and frustrated and fed up with both the Republicans and the Democrats. I don’t want to be affiliated or associated with either group.
