A Politico article today explained why I drifted away from any notion of voting for John McCain.
In “How John McCain lost me,” Elizabeth Drew details John McCain’s eight-year drift away from a time when both she and I could have voted for McCain for president.
Without researching the history myself, I could not have told you what turned me away from McCain; I just know that it happened, over time, in a cumulative way. Drew’s article puts it all together in a neat package.
I too feel bad about how McCain has changed from the candidate he was in 2000. He has lost his way.

Discouraging, isn’t it? 🙁
