It seems like only yesterday we were reading about the Walmart employee who was trampled to death by Black Friday shoppers surging into his store when it opened. The ugliness of the story is unforgettable.
That’s why Walmart is taking steps this year to see that it doesn’t happen again. The fix includes having many of its stores stay open 24/7 starting on Thanksgiving Day.
Way to go, Walmart. Show your concern by making employees work more on Thanksgiving.
