I would if I thought it would make a difference. In New York, its a choice of Asshole 1 and Asshole 2, neither of which will do anything for ME because I’m just a self-employed stooge trying to put food on the table with no mob connections, no union, and no money to give either of them. Long Island is going to get screwed no matter who wins, so I can’t stomach the thought of “supporting” anyone on the ballot and writing a name in is a waste of time and energy.
When I don’t like any of the candidates, I hold my nose and vote for the least objectionable. Besides, if I don’t vote, I have no right to complain. And you know me — I love to complain!
you dont loose your right to complain if you dont vote thats just someone saying if you didnt bother to vote dont bother to complain.we are slowly loosing our freedome these days.and the elected officials of our country dont really seem to care as long as they can stuff there pockets.people wake upthis bcountry elected a leader that didnt even finish a full tearm as a senator and our econimy (world wide )seems to have gotten worse notany better,Nancy Pelosi is not in control of the House ,When trying to push the stimolus package she said quoit “if we dont pass this bill on the econimy we stand to loose 300 Million jobs in america so its an emergancy we do this”. well you do the math I think according to the last censis the popupation is just a little over that #. Did any one in the news media catch the math error if they did i didnt catch it .government is not an enity that produces anything they spend money thats not earned and alwaws its borrowed to make the budget balance. and therefore our dollar isn’t worht as much as it once was, hinse the sudden spike in the price of gold , over $1300.00 an ounce, 375.00 an ounce less than 6 years ago .it takes more dollars to buy the same amount of gold .the dollar is loosing ground oh well lets just do another stimolus package .and lets fix health care well require that youi have it like we do car insurance and a lot of that is because of the lack of coverage the insurance companies provide for there high premiums.and dissallows benifits .but still yousee Canidans coming south for treatment that their on the waiting list for in canada . well I’ll shut up afor now but thank God thats still my choice whether I voted or didnt vote.
