Judging from the news reports, New York City got more than a little excited about that baby cobra that escaped from its tank at the Bronx Zoo. She, the snake, is back in her enclosure now and her new name, chosen by the public, is Mia (presumably for Missing in Action).

Meantime, one has to wonder if that one little snake, out for an unauthorized night or two on the town — er, herpetarium — was really a problem. I’m guessing this guy wouldn’t think so:
