Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-NY) is taking a leave of absence from Congress to “get treatment.”

Treatment? Treatment for what? There is no cure for stupid. There is no cure for men who think “sexual addiction” is a valid excuse for lewd behavior.

He probably just wanted to hide because he knew there were still more photos to come. And sure enough, TMZ released more photos today. These photos, however, weren’t taken in the privacy of Weiner’s home; they were taken in the House of Representatives gym and locker room. Just when we thought we’d seen the worst of his arrogance …

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) had already called for an Ethics Committee investigation “to determine whether any official resources were used or any other violation of House rules occurred” in the Wiener case. Looks like the Committee might have something to work with now.

I hope so. Anyone who lies to my face for 10 straight days and then expects forgiveness and understanding is a bigger fool than I am.
