It’s that time again. New Year’s Eve. Around the world, 2011 is ticking away, if not already gone. For some it’s a celebration of having survived the old year; for others it’s the joy of a new year, fresh and unsullied. A chance to start over. Or to carry on.
Whatever it means to you, whatever you have planned for this evening, stay safe.
For last year’s words belong to last year’s language
And next year’s words await another voice.
And to make an end is to make a beginning.
Here’s wishing all of us a peaceful, prosperous new year. ¡Salud!
Beautifully said PT. Happy New Year! 😀
And the same to you, Susan!
If I’m old and drink a great deal, will it turn me into a child?
All the best, PT. Hope the year brings you contentment.
Happy New Year to you too Pied!
Here’s wishing a winning lottery ticket in all our pockets
Ooo, I’m up for that!
Thank you so much and I love the TS Elliot quote 😀
May you live long and prosper…always,
Raven xx
Live long and prosper. Spock had the right idea, didn’t he?
