Rush Limbaugh has a great new conspiracy theory. The villain in the new Batman movie, “The Dark Knight Rises,” is named Bane, and was first introduced in Batman comics in 1993. But no, says Limbaugh, it’s obviously a conspiracy against Mitt Romney, with his now-controversial private equity firm, Bain Capital. Kind of like the conspiracy that, in anticipation of Obama’s becoming president, planted news of his birth in a Hawaiian newspaper. If only Democrats really had such foresight!
One of the companies marketing Batman movie products has said they hope/encourage people to buy movie “Bane” items to pitch like shoes at him…..anything for a buck
LOL
It would be funny, except I’m angry at big companies running everything. (Please can’t we just have the election now and get it over with!)
Amen to that!!! I was sick of this whole thing last fall! We need a law specifying a window of just a couple of months for all campaigning, conventions, and the election. Anything else would be illegal.
Loser!
He’s far worse than the rest of his kind because he has a microphone.
True.
I’m sure Rush is right on here. I mean, I expect that during this movie Bane will say something like “BAAAANE… CAPITAL!” and maybe before he attacks he’ll shout, “ROMNEYYYY!” And then there will be a scene where he scream at Batman, “Wait until I get my MITT’s on YOU!” Then, after he beats the crap out of Batman, he’ll say, “You’re going to need some OBAMACARE when I’m done!”
Makes sense to me. 😉 I’ll watch for those scenes if I ever see the movie.
