Jimmy Kimmel just told me today (Aug. 21) is, for another hour, National Senior Citizens Day. Drat! I wonder if I should have been out picking up freebies for seniors somewhere. Maybe a free coffee at Starbucks or a donut at Krispy Kreme. Oh well, maybe next year.
“National Senior Citizens Day” eh? I’ve often wondered if I qualify considering how I depend on SSDI for a living. And some “freebies” would sure come in handy about now, as I try to get motivated to make that walk to spend my last bucks on what I hope will be enough supplies to last the rest of the month.
But hey, it’s not like there aren’t those willing to help push me along: 😆
