Beautiful!
The west is always burning (I’m in California and a former Fire Ecologist, now a GIS Specialist). Both beautiful and terribly awesome (in the true sense of that word).
Great shots, by the way.
I’d post my own photos if I had the heart to go up there, but I don’t. Forest fires make me cry, especially burning in places I know and love.
Nice photos! I do like the new mosaic effect. Is this why you’re so glad to see rain?
Better believe it! That fire is right in the heart of my favorite place on earth.
I’m glad. I’m rather shocked that we didn’t have more fires than we did this summer. With the drought and all… I expected it to be a lot worse.
