It shouldn’t surprise me anymore, but it always does. Snow in the high country. In the summer. (It’s not fall until after Labor Day.) This is a screenshot from the webcam at the Alpine Visitor Center on Trail Ridge Road a few minutes ago. It’s 91° at my house, 41° and snowing up there. That’s Colorado!
That is so amazing PT. And to think that some people travel hundreds of miles to escape the heat of summer. And best of all, when you get tired of shivering, your trip back is as quick and easy as the trip there! 😀
Oh I know. We used to drive 750 miles from OKC every summer to spend time up here. Now I live here. I’m so lucky.
