    1. Slate says it’s their new responsive design, better for mobile devices. I guess we old-fashioned computer users don’t count for much. Funny, though. I see all the publications you mention still have search boxes. I’ll never understand Slate’s abandoning that tool.

    FYI… When checking it out, read the article about Cuccinelli losing the election. And here is a sentence from it:

    “Cuccinelli was proudly and self-avowedly one of the most activist attorneys general the commonwealth had ever seen.”

    Am I just completely misreading this as to me it is grammatically incorrect. Very badly. In fact, it really doesn’t make much sense.
