While looking for some new Erik Stensland photographs, I came across this video that he shot in August up on Longs Peak. This is from the Boulder Field looking up toward the Keyhole and north face. I strongly suspect he did not climb any higher on this day. Obviously the man does more than still photography, and does it well.

Such a gorgeous, yet spooky video– the mountain is so BIG, with the misty clouds and the early morning light… just beautiful! I hadnt seen that, yet, so will have to start checking youtube now for Erik’s work. He posts at least 1 new still shot every day on FB, but videos are special. You dont care for fb, but worth it just for his postings 🙂
It’s my loss. Because of my aversion to Facebook, I tend to forget he has a page there just overflowing with luscious photos.
