By now you’ve probably seen something about Peregrine Church’s Seattle Rainworks on TV. I had, several times, and was intrigued. But I always missed the part where it’s explained how he creates his work. The secret, it seems, is a hydrophobic spray coating.
He gives “street art” a whole new meaning, and I can only imagine how delightful it must be to come across his work while trudging along in the rain. Something for Seattleites to smile about.
Tends to encourage people to sing and dance in the rain?
Fred Astaire would have loved it. 🙂
That is quite creative and spirit lifting. I had not seen or heard of this until viewing your video. Thanks for sharing… 🙂
Maybe something similar will catch on in other rainy cities. Sure would brighten my day. And I need a lot of brightening after about three days of cloudiness. (I’d never survive in Seattle.)
Living in a place that gets so much rain sounds depressing. What a great lift that “Worry is a misuse of the imagination” message must be to someone who feels like the rain is drowning them! 😀
We could use more rain here in Colorado. Most any time. But not all the time!
