Beautiful post. I live in Canada, and we approach Remembrance Day with reverence and appreciation for the generations before us. I have devoted a blog to the generation immediately after “the greatest generation” (who fought the wars). May we never forget the few who did so much for the many.
Not only must we never forget them, but as the quote says, it is our solemn duty to deliver on the promises we made to them.
