Another gorgeous photo from Erik Stensland up in Estes Park. He posted this on his Facebook page two days ago, noting that the clouds in recent days had made photography “a bit challenging.” I’d say he was more than up to the challenge.

How gorgeous – details showing trees in the slopes and all that cotton candy coloring, too.
(The jet stream is almost splitting the country in half – top part gets cold and snowy while we walked the beach today in sun and 70’s.)

Weird weather. We hit mid 60s today, with 68 at DIA.
That is such a wonderful photo and a reminder of why people love that place. A friend of ours recently sold his little cabin above Estes Park, along with its acreage, and that was not a happy thing for him.
Regardless of the reason, it must have broken his heart to part with it.
