Yes we are watching.
Leslie
Must you? It’s so embarrassing …
We are praying for you.
Leslie
Thanks. We’re going to need all the help we can get.
Especially from the Big Guy above!
Leslie
I doubt he’s interested in American politics but if he can fix this mess, he’s welcome to try.
He’s more powerful than you think.
Leslie
There is no trying on HIS part. HE will let America get what she deserves.Man kind will NEVER save himself. That is for certain.
Yes; but I don’t think there’s much mirth in the laughter! 🙁
More like ridicule …
“The problem with political jokes is they get elected.” Will Rogers (I think)
Too bad Will isn’t around to run. But like so many good men (and women), he had too much good sense to get involved in politics.
Yeah, the person we want for president smart enough not to want it.
Don’t worry. Every twelfth voter in Slovakia voted for a fascist party that actually dresses like the old guard from the 40’s. In Canada, people are unable to buy into the housing market because Chinese buyers are outbidding them – and government does not care. And of course, EU gave money to Turkey so they don’t have to deal with the humanitarian crisis themselves, but rather outsource the problem somewhere else (and by somewhere else, I mean almost fascist Erdogan’s regime). Trump is just a symptom of a disease, US are not exceptional, they are the same as the rest of the world. Everybody is just paying a little bit more attention. That’s it.
I’ve never thought the US was “exceptional,” as in better than everyone else. But I’ve also never been quite as embarrassed and upset as I am now about about our leaders and wannabe leaders and what they’re doing.
