Pied Type’s stats show that few of the links published here ever get clicked, so it probably won’t help to say you should check out Ronni Bennett’s blog Time Goes By. She deals mostly with topics for and about senior citizens (she prefers “elders”). But every Saturday she publishes a compilation of assorted stuff which is always interesting, fun, or thought-provoking. Something for everyone. Check it out. Meanwhile, here’s a teaser from today’s post. It’s a wonderful break from all the stress in your life. So relax. Time to appreciate some of the good things …

As a fellow old-fart, I appreciate finding out about the blog. Thanks bunches!
Oh, the columns I’ve written, the type trays I’ve pied…
😉
You’re quite welcome. It’s a wonderfully informative blog, and you can read all the comments of other old farts just like us.
Somewhere I hope I still have the casting of my name that a coworker produced (that and my old pica poles are as far back as my mementoes go) Fortunately he was the one in a position to pi type trays, not I. He almost got me once with the type lice trick … 🙁
I’m a big fan of Time Goes By…for several years now. I do click on links and often find a blog I sign up for. I actually found yours from Time Goes By , as the poster’s names are highlighted if they too have a blog
I’m so glad to hear someone looks at the links! I’ve tried not to make my posts dependent on someone reading the links because so many people don’t and so much linked content disappears sooner or later. But sometimes there’s just way more material than I can summarize.
I’ve yet to fully explore Ronni’s list of other senior blogs, but I’m working on it. So many blogs, so little time!
OK I clicked – it is a cool place. Thanks!
Yea!
Love the planet re-cap. Inspiring!
Glad you enjoyed it. I’ve watched it several times, with mostly good feelings. The chimp hugging Jane Goodall reminds me of the gorilla that had to be shot, and that makes me sad.
I’ve been reading Time Goes By for some time now. Ronnie does a great job—she’s tireless! I always enjoy her intelligent perspective!
Me too!
