Today’s Google home page features artwork celebrating peace and diversity. A national Doodle 4 Google contest asked student artists to consider the concept “What I see for the future ….” The winner was 15-year old Connecticut high schooler Sarah Harrison, with her entry entitled “A Peaceful Future.” Six of the eight young people pictured wear shirts spelling out “Google.”
Harrison said, “When I started, I was thinking of how there’s a lot of animosity toward diverse communities of people in the world right now. So I wanted to draw something that I hoped would show that we can all get along well, and that it’s possible for us to be happy with each other.”
Looks like there might be hope for the future after all.
Yes, allwe need now, is for cleaners to go into the White House!
It’s going to take more than cleaners to fix the problems there.
Surely not the sanitation/sewage department
Yes, there is hope, but maybe we’ll have to wait for the younger generation to show us the way! Loved the illustration!
That’s a very talented 15-year-old.
