Social media have dubbed this tiny Berlin puddle sculpture “Politicians discussing global warming,” but the sculpture is actually called “Electoral Campaign” and is part of a larger street art installation called “Follow the Leaders.”
Spanish street artist Isaac Cordal installs his 6″-10″ tall sculptures in streets and public spaces across Europe in an ongoing project called “Cement Eclipses,” then photographs them to document their presence.
Very impressive work! 🙂
It speaks as loudly as any treatise on global warming. I’ve long envisioned some wealthy denier standing outside his beachfront mansion with rising seawater lapping at his knees …
Powerful image! Sort of hits you in the solar plexus, doesn’t it?
Definitely makes its point.
“Politicians discussing global warming,” is more apt I think, I can just imagine the heads that are almost submerged denying the obvious.
It sure works for me. That’s why I was so attracted to the photo in the first place.
