A group of Denver men calling themselves the Denver Collective Assembly have claimed the Guinness Book of Records title for world’s tallest waffle stack. Yesterday their 67-centimeter stack beat the previous record of 51 centimeters. Official certification from Guinness is pending.
I’m not sure which is more impressive, the height of the stack or the fact that they made all those waffles themselves.

Aha! I found a video on YouTube:
After watching that, I’m wondering how long that stack stood on its own and if the rules specified a minimum time in order to qualify. Still, quite an accomplishment.
or that they thought this was a thing worth doing – pass the butter…
… and syrup.
and I suppose that they were then required to eat the lot of them,
“Waste Not Want Not”
I don’t know if the waffles were actually edible by the time they were baked hard enough to stack. And they’d have been cold, too.
It should only be a record if they are completely edible and devoured by the cooks immediately after to prove that they were a proper food 🙂
Hows that for being vindictive and nasty, almost in the roseanne class 🙂 😈
The video shows how they are made, just like regular waffles. They are fit for human consumption but just a bit too well done to be tasty. Fortunately for them, you aren’t one of the judges! 😉
They wouldn’t have got a guernsey
