The Democrats wouldn’t do it. The Republicans wouldn’t do it. But after Ana Maria Archila and Maria Gallagher cornered Sen. Jeff Flake (R-AZ) in an elevator yesterday and demanded he act, things started changing. When Sen. Flake returned to the hearing room, he worked out a deal to allow one week for the FBI to further investigate the Kavanaugh/Ford impasse.
What would have been an immediate vote to advance Kavanaugh’s Supreme Court nomination became a one-week postponement, thanks to two brave women who faced down a senator and demanded justice … and, of course, Sen. Flake’s commendable move to do the right thing. Kudos to all three.
Well we can only hope that the FBI follow through and charge the man(?)
Some good news Seems as if Senator Warren is going to give it a run in 2020; must admit I expected a post on this from you Susan 😀
She is going to run!? Great news! I hadn’t heard. Right now, though, I’m hoping Biden runs.
Just looked for latest info on Warren. She’s confirmed that she’s seriously considering a run in 2020. Still hasn’t committed to it.
It was the lead item on the MSM news that seems to come up on my ‘puter every morning.
I like Biden but I’d like to see a woman in charge a joint ticket?
Warren/Biden? I think I’d prefer Biden/Warren because he’s more moderate.
As Sen Warren, said Washington now needs a good shake up and a woman to set them back on track; or words to that effect. I think she might be right, women are much braver than men when it comes to making the big decisions. I’ve always believed that if women ran the world there’s never be any wars.
I agree with that. If I were to generalize, I think women are more likely to compromise, less likely to start wars.

Yes, I saw that. She’s sounding pretty serious but has yet to formally declare her candidacy.
Many of the comments on that video make me weep for the future of our country.
I’ve been weeping since Trump was elected. If Kavanaugh is confirmed, I may have to be committed.
