Not sure I get this; something to do with the Dems and GOP obviously, is it having a fight and falling from the ring?
My first interpretation was that both parties have moved to the extremes, away from more moderate, centrist positions that most Americans profess. More specifically, the two parties are so busy fighting each other that they’ve forgotten their jobs of being in Washington working together on compromises and solutions.
(The rules of wrestling require that when the wrestlers go off the mat, they are penalized and have to go back to the middle and start again.)
Well I think in this instance the wrestlers should be disqualified, and new “contestants’ enter the ring.
I don’t know. I’m disgusted in general with Washington. On the other hand, I think right now the Dems in the House are the only thing standing between Trump and his ridiculous wall.
That’s very English of you Susan, We were not very happy with Washington either, caused a spot of bother by gad!
