Panning around Boulder

Boulder’s trademark Flatirons

For those with a particular interest in Boulder, Colo., there’s a new webcam … or perhaps it’s just a new function of a previously existing webcam. It’s live streaming and rotates every 15 to 60 seconds to show views around Boulder. You’ll see the Flatirons and several mountains to the west, a view east across the CU campus, and the activity on West Pearl Street. I’ve added it to my webcams page (scroll down to the “South of Estes Park” section) and it also appears on YouTube.

I don’t know yet, but that east view may be a great way to view Colorado’s beautiful sunrises. Based on the many pictures I’ve seen (because I don’t get up that early), our sunrises often rival our sunsets, which you can enjoy with either the Denver Museum of Nature & Science cam or the Nederland/Indian Peaks cam.
