After months (if not years) of indecision, I’ve decided to make some changes in Pied Type’s design. This will no doubt cause me great consternation and frustration as I try to get everything looking the way I want. I hope it will not prove too great an inconvenience for my readers as you try to navigate around the new setup (or possibly the old theme if I give up and try to revert). Apologies to all.
Aug. 22, 2019: I didn’t stick with the first new theme I tried. This one, called Tortuga, is the second one I tried.
I’m going to change mine sometime soon, too.
It was such a major PITA the last time I tried. This time I stuck with the same designers and it seems to be going much more smoothly.
Do you get a purchased theme? I upgrade so I can do some of my own editing/coding.
Yes, it’s a premium theme. Not with the same designer after all. I tinker a lot with the CSS to get things just the way I want.
How exciting! Good luck in your “construction-ing”! 😉 🙂
(((HUGS)))
Thanks. I’m going to need it!
Oh, you’re serious about the concept of “trying new and difficult things will keep your brain sharp”
Just keep sharp implements far away until it’s all done and the hysteria/rage/frustration only a vague memory?
I keep considering this, but (shiver and nail biting).
Can’t wait to see what appears here. Have fun – it’ll be great.
Currently suffering analysis paralysis. I liked some elements of the previous theme better. But I like a lot about this theme too.
