? I’ve been away without internet for several weeks. Apparently I missed something. But I’ll upvote any brave dog story nonetheless. Wondering if I’ll ever get caught up on posts and stories and all.
Just read any news story about the killing of ISIS leader al-Baghdadi. Our special forces found him and a brave K-9 chased him down in a tunnel. Baghdadi detonated his suicide vest, killing himself and two children, but the dog was only slightly injured and reportedly is already back on duty. His (her?) name remains classified, but here’s a picture:

Update Oct 30: The dog is a Belgian Malinois named Conan. He has served in more than 50 combat missions.
