Our oceans are heating up at a record rate, according to many sources. This particular graph of rising ocean temperatures was published by The Guardian in its article “Ocean temperatures hit record high as rate of heating accelerates.”
If you aren’t alarmed, you just aren’t paying attention. Go read the accompanying article, or any of dozens of others.
I don’t get it.
e.g.
One joule is equal to: 1 ×10^7 erg. One joule is also equivalent to one watt-second. How to calculate Joule:- Work = Mass * Gravity * Height and is measured in Joules. Example:- Imagine you find a 2 -Kg book on the floor and lift it 0.75 meters and put it on a table.
I know joules are a unit of energy but I know less than nothing about the math. (Math has always been my weakest subject.) I just know the graph shows a drastic increase in the last 20 years. Or a steady increase since 1940. Whichever floats your boat. It’s a trend we must reverse, or at least stop.
