While sheltering-in-place as ordered, members of the Colorado Symphony used modern technology to get together and play Beethoven’s “Ode to Joy,” one of my all-time favorites. I still get goosebumps every time I hear it.
“Ode to Joy,” from Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, was originally written and composed in the early 1820s in Austria. It represents the triumph of universal brotherhood against war and desperation.
