Other than flags at half mast, there was nothing done in town or the Park. A visitor in my lane gave me a lapel pin – a fundraiser they have for the Flight 93 Memorial site in Shanksville, PA – of the Towers with Never Forget underneath. Choked me up a bit; how did he know that would mean so much to me. Thank you for posting the beams of light!
This picture is the only thing about 9/11 that I care to revisit. I don’t need to relive it.
Thoughtful of that visitor to give you that pin. Did you notice where he was from?
Yes, he said they live SE of Pittsburgh, small town not far from the memorial site.
I don’t enjoy the idea of reliving it, but it was a big part of my professional life from then till i left.
I kinda figured he might have been from PA. Sorry to hear your job at the time kept you involved. That can’t have been pleasant.
I’m with you. I’m still just mad. I don’t have enough expletives.
I don’t need any additional grief or anger these days. That’s why I avoid it. The present is infuriating enough without rehashing the past.
Hooray
I guess the comment problem is fixed. I’m glad. Hope you’re getting email notifications again.
Yes Mam thank you very much!
