Reminds me of the old joke: “Cheer up, things could always be worse.” So I cheered up and sure enough, things got worse.
In the USN, it’s commonly known that the character of a ship’s crew tends to reflect that of her Captain. Apparently, each president is able to pick and choose the personal agents they find compatible so it’s no surprise to me hat those around Trump would act like this.
I can understand being loyal to one’s boss, to an extent, but for those specific records to disappear after they’d been specifically subpoenaed is several bridges too far. The stench is Washington is overwhelming.
