Whither October?

    1. Sorry for the posting delay. Just figured out this was you.
Look at it this way: If you blinked and missed October, blink three or four more times and skip winter.

  1. I love October, too, and not just because it’s my birthday month. It’s a beautiful month here (and everywhere), but when it ends it means that winter is coming—my least favorite time of the year

    1. My sister had an October wedding. Gorgeous Tropicana roses (the coral-colored ones) everywhere. I was insanely jealous. Now I’m jealous of you for having an October birthday (mine’s in April. Not bad, but not October.)

I don’t mind winter; snow melts so fast here. It’s the heat of summer that does me in.

  2. You changed your theme again. Since I haven’t had time to see your posts when you post them, I occasionally catch up in one sitting. I’ll start with your most recent post, then go to the previous post, read it, comment, then the next previous post, and so on, until I’ve caught up. Cannot do that now with this theme. And when I go to your Home page, it only shows your most recent 9 posts. I can’t get to the ones before that. Just sayin’………..

    1. Pick any post. When you scroll to the very bottom of the page, you’ll see the previous and next posts in green rectangles in the lowest corners. I hope you see this note.

As for the theme, when it looks good, I love it. But so much is broken! Pages out of whack, images gone and can’t be found anywhere, videos no longer loading. Drives me crazy when I start trying to fix.

      1. I’d not noticed this shortcoming when I changed the home page. And I don’t see a way to fix it. So thanks to your comment, I’m going to revert to the theme’s regular home page. Thank you for mentioning this! 🙂

    1. In the course of one day, I’d say everything seems normal. But overnight it somehow becomes next week and I’m left scratching my head. How does that happen? Now a lot of us seem to have lost a whole month!

... and that's my two cents
