Not just a national hero in Ukraine. A world hero. Volodymyr Zelensky, president of Ukraine. The respect and admiration I have for him and the Ukrainian people is boundless.

    1. He certainly is. They’ll probably make a movie about him, or certainly one with a hero patterned after him. So many leaders would have fled the country and directed the war from afar.

    1. Interesting thought. Colbert is so damned smart and seems so knowledgeable about so many things. Hard to imagine him in fatigues fighting with his troops, however.

    1. Imagine what it means to his people to have him staying with them, encouraging them and actually fighting along side them. That’s the stuff of legend.

    1. I had to look up “chalk pick,” but yes, so deserving. I’d like to think the US has some leaders like that, but I doubt it. We’ve been too soft for too long.
