Ten years

    1. The most innocent are also the most defenseless, the easiest targets for murderers. The only ones among us who’ve become numb, it seems, are those elected and empowered to deal with the problem, to find solutions and to pass and enforce laws to protect and defend all of us and our rights to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

  1. Will AlexJones really be fined bigtime ? – or will he, like tRump, manage to go on lying .. and lying .. and lying .. and getting away with it ?

    1. I’ve no idea, but I think he and those like him are deranged and filled with evil intent. Fined? No, he belongs in prison. Lies are not (or certainly should not be) protected free speech.

      1. I agree in the main. What Jones did was evil. Deranged, I’m not so sure. It was all about the bucks. While I hope the civil suit ends his reach and riot, I wouldn’t wager. I still find it hard to believe that there is no criminal statue that would/should apply here.

Ten years since this horror. Strange; to me it feels simultaneously more distant in time, yet somehow closer. Thanks for taking the time to list all the victims.

        1. Regulating free speech is a slippery slope; I understand that. But it’s a slippery slope that needs some guard rails. I don’t know if civil suits are enough.

Time and memory get weird as we age. At least for me they have. Years are compressed. Was this or that event 3 years ago, or 10, or maybe 20? Sandy Hook happened 10 years ago. Off hand I’d have guessed maybe 6 or 7 at most.

... and that's my two cents
