Found this in my email this morning and it kicked off my spidey sense:

I ran a search on the return address:
<customerservice@emcom.bankofamerica.com>
and there are a lot of posts that indicate it’s a likely scam, although none were recent.
I did see several suggestions that a suspicious email like this be forwarded to abuse@bankofamerica.com, which I did, before trashing it.
If and when I feel a need for additional BoA security, I’ll go log into BoA myself and take the necessary steps. I’ll not be clicking any links in this email.
If I’m wrong about this, well, BoA is a big entity. I don’t think I’ll have hurt any feelings.

right
Yep, better safe than sorry.
I got an email like that too. I deleted it. Seemed odd.
https://youtu.be/oZuz7QofGcE becomes less than stultifying at around 12:40″.
But I believe that email to be kosher. Not that my belief weighs as much as a fly’s leg …
Very informative video. Thank you. I’ll try to remember those tips. Meantime, if I get around to it, I’ll go browse the BoA site and see if that’s something new that I want to do.
Well shared
Thank you. It may or may not be legitimate, but one can’t be too careful.
(And welcome to Pied Type!)
