Brilliant. Wish I’d thought to do this back when I was using a big desktop computer. I had a slide-out keyboard shelf exactly like this. I’ve been using a laptop for quite a few years, but still occasionally have to fend off the resident feline. (Keyboard cavorting is, after all, a required activity for all self-respecting card-holding kitties.)

Well the old computer and keyboard are still in place if he wants to work on them, but he’s smart enough to limit his activity to the current keyboard. He likes to annotate my writing.
