  1. I’m still with the Dean on this; the group 150 have not the courage of the Dean and should find somewhere else to peddle their ideas and weaknesses. A University is supposed to turn out future leaders not those that cower at the slightest adversity

    1. Yeah, but we’re old farts. What do we know? Still, my son, the next generation behind us, speaks in very disparaging terms about the “delicate little snowflakes” on campus these days demanding their trigger warnings and safe spaces. Makes me wonder what campuses will be like when my grandkids (now 14 and 10) get there.

    1. Lord only knows what our grandkids will face when they get to college. Yours and mine, of course, will have learned to get along in the world like normal people, long before they get there.

      1. Well, a couple of men called me a fking ct on the bus last night. Just freedom of speech, baby, nothing to get all sensitive about! It occurs to me that many people live in sheltered circumstances and literally have no idea about what’s going down these days.
