‘Stable genius’ rolls on

Just when I thought Donald Trump couldn’t disgust me any more than he already has, Tuesday’s Washington Post reported this:

President Trump announced Tuesday that he intends to halt payments to the World Health Organization until a review can be conducted into what he described as mismanagement of the coronavirus pandemic. While it’s not clear how the administration would unilaterally slash funding, the move was expected, as Trump has deflected blame for initially downplaying the seriousness of the virus and instead sought to point the finger at the WHO.

Meanwhile, the Treasury Department ordered Trump’s name to be printed on $1,200 stimulus checks that are being sent to 70 million Americans, which some Internal Revenue Service officials have said could delay delivery by several days.

Excuse me, I think I’m going to be sick again.

    1. I wonder if those checks will bear a small, neatly printed name or if he’ll insist on his giant Sharpie sig? But worse, how dare he delay those desperately needed checks just so he can put his name on them!

  1. He sure is a despicable individual. I had a dream last night that he was gone somehow. Some documents were found that implicating him in something. There was a big fight in the administration, then he was gone. Unfortunately I woke up. I wanted so much to get back inside the dream!

    1. I don’t have to sleep to have that dream 24/7. Documents have already been found that implicate him. Lots of documents, lots of things. And we’ve had a big fight in Washington. And he was impeached. And yet he’s still here. It’s not a dream, it’s a nightmare.

... and that's my two cents
