LOL. Yes, actually, that dot spans about a mile. (Sorry, Aussie, I don’t speak km without a translator.) My house is a wee bit smaller than that.
I appreciate the thought, but no, I really don’t like the Fourth. For years it has meant medicating and caring for a terrified dog while fuming at neighbors who totally ignore the law and shoot off illegal fireworks into the wee hours (not to mention for several evenings before and after the Fourth). They got partially rained out last night, but once the storms passed they were at it again with a vengeance.
Every silver lining, as they say .. :\

Yep. Instead of watching fireworks from Boston or wherever, I was keeping an eye on that.
