Yep, those Super Bowl commercials have started appearing as they do every year about this time. And as much as it costs to produce them, I can’t blame the advertisers for getting an early start on their exposure.
One of my favorites has always been Budweiser and their Clydesdales. I’ve been a horse-crazy little girl all my life, and as an actual little girl back in the dark ages, I once got to meet the Clydesdales and actually pet one of them. I was absolutely awed by their size. A little girl looking way up at a real horse. I’ve never forgotten that experience.
So here they come again. And with a yellow Lab that looks a lot like my Charlie guiding them through the night in a snowstorm not unlike what we are expecting this weekend in our mountains.
Don’t know if I’ll watch the big game, but I’m always interested in the commercials (advertising was my journalism focus back in the day). Fortunately I don’t have to sit through the game in order to see the best commercials. But when a big event is on live tv across the nation and “everybody” is watching, I tend to develop FOMO. I much prefer to watch something myself rather than rely on third-party interpretations after the fact.

I think I might’ve viewed every one of those Clydesdale Budweiser ads of those available on YouTube, Colorado – such superb, wonderful, utterly beautiful animals !!
And yes, the lab, too. 🙂
I confess I don’t like this commercial as well as some of the earlier ones, but those horses are always magnificent.
can’t wait
For the commercial, the game, or the whole spectacle?
the whole shebang
😃👍
Love the horses too. I wouldn’t miss the Super Bowl for anything, ads included. It’s grand entertainment. Regular ads, not so much; I just signed up to pay $2.99 per month to skip ads on Amazon Prime movies. Go fighre.
figure
I pay to skip ads on one or two services but I can’t afford it on everything. I guess with the game I don’t want to skip the ads. Between the game, the commercials, and the halftime show, I’m not sure when a person is supposed to take bathroom breaks.
