He’s right here in River City. Well, almost. He’s based twenty miles up the road in Boulder, Colo.
His owner, Kevin Ferman, is an Uber driver and Bowie “the Uber Dog” rides shotgun. Every day.
Ferman makes and posts these videos on a regular basis. You can follow them on TikTok, Instagram, and/or YouTube. Passengers love Bowie, and that means Ferman is in great demand. Best of all, Bowie doesn’t have to stay home alone while Ferman gets to talk to pretty girls all day. (There are a few male passengers but you have to look closely to spot them.)
I don’t know if Bowie is Uber’s first canine wingman, but I’m betting he won’t be the last.

Holy crap, that’s a lot of people sharing rides in the car, and they all look so studious and serious!
Yep, I noticed that. Studious and serious.
Very studious.
Their parents must be so proud …
I saw that UBER dog on TV. I love his “seat” and his attentiveness to the passengers. A good time had by all. Bet that’s one popular driver.
Yep, I saw him first on tv and then went looking for videos.
However, I just noticed, and am concerned that he is riding in the front seat with no safety harness (which admittedly might restrict his movement). Any sudden stop could throw him into the dashboard. Maybe Ferman has padded it or something. I hope.
I thought maybe he had on one of those harnesses that clip into the seat belt…but probably not. Hopefully that “enclosure” does keep him secure on the seat and off the dashboard during sudden stops. Just darn cute
Some of the shots you can see there’s no harness. But yes, maybe the enclosure goes all around. The guy seems like the type who would take very good care of his meal ticket. Such a sweet dog.
Love the dog. Can’t stand the passengers.
My sentiments exactly.
