  1. johnthecook…most everyone wants peace, and there are those who diligently seek peace, but real “everlasting peace” will never happen until the “Prince of Peace” returns. Isiah 9:6-7.

      1. johnthecook..Thank You PiesType. I still enjoy your column and try not to be overbearing or disrespectful in my reply and or rebuttal to you your comments. You run a tight ship, and I feel privileged to be allowed to comment or YOUR blog. HAPPY NEW YEAR to you and your family.

  2. Peace-wise, things began to downhill with the discovery of agriculture and the invention of property ownership some 10,000 years ago. I’m not holding my breath waiting for change to that.

    1. I wouldn’t call her “my” Beth, but she’s worth following. How she manages to post something every day is beyond me, but it’s always something interesting and uplifting.

  3. Brilliant ( and ditto from here) Cheers and onward
(And my , your blog style choice looks so stylish . Nice! You make me feel a but lazy…maybe this yearn updated version….but don’t hold your breath.) Happy New Year (ltardy but still with meaning. HAHAHAHA)

    1. “Stylish” is, I think, a bonus conferred by the dark background? I like the look, but it came about only as a defensive measure against the glare of a white screen. (Glaucoma makes glare worse, and I spend way too much time looking at screens as it is … )

Happy New Year to you, too! (It’s only the 2nd. We can still say that.)
