  1. I don’t know about today’s soldiers, but I remember back in 1990, during Desert Shield and the build-up to Desert Storm, there was suddenly a rash of pregnancies. How convenient not to be able to deploy when war is imminent. That did more to set women back in terms of equal rights and equal fights in the military than anything. Ladies, if you want to be an equal, be an equal. That means not getting pregnant.
