Winter getting you down? Here’s a suggestion: Phoebe the hummingbird has two new babies, Bea and Jay, in her nest in Southern California. She’s on a live, streaming webcam, complete with all the spring sounds of birds chirping, hummer wings humming, etc. Sunshine, rose bushes. I won’t go into all the details; I did all that last year (search “Phoebe“). Even if you aren’t into birds, these little guys will lift your winter-weary heart. Keep in mind, Phoebe is only about 3” long and her nest is the size of a golf ball. That makes Bea and Jay very small.
Wow, that is so cool. And the colors are just incredible! Thanks for the link. 😀
Hope you watched long enough to see Phoebe come and go, see the babies, and maybe see a feeding.
I only watched for a minute before, and only saw what looks like the mother, but I’ve reopened it so I can check periodically.
Careful. I found it to be very addicting. 🙂
LOVE IT! Thanks Pied!
You’re welcome. Folks in your neck o’ the woods probably need this even more than I do.
I love that bird.
I do, too. I’ve run out of adjectives for her.
