Nope, not a parrot. Look closely. Do you see her now? This exquisitely painted woman is the work of award-winning body painter Johannes Stötter. Born and based in South Tyrol (Italy), Stötter is an artist, musician and fine art bodypainter. You can see much more of his amazing work on his website and learn more about this particular painting in a YouTube video.

wow
That was my reaction too. Be sure and check his website for lots more really amazing paintings — if you can call them paintings.
That took me awhile!
😀
Days of planning and four hours to actually paint, if I recall correctly from the video. It gets a bit tedious in the middle, reading extensive notes which are also printed, but interesting stuff at the beginning and end.
Oh — that too. (I actually meant that it took me quite awhile to find the woman inside the parrot!)
D’oh, I misread your first comment as “That took awhile.” Still on my first cup of coffee …
You’re gonna have to drink faster if you intend to catch up with me. (I was responding to your suggestion to find the woman so I replied “That took awhile.”)
What a shock when I finally saw her! So creative!
Some of his other work is just as amazing. But apparently the parrot is the single most famous.
Yep…saw both women, the parrot and the one in the leaves.Very good.
Check out the frog and chameleon on his website.
Where do the get their inspiration? It never ceases to amaze, the imagination of these people.
Don’t know what got this artist started, but I was reminded immediately of this guy.
