Seeking an escape from unrelentingly awful news, I visited Erik Stensland’s “Images of RMNP.” And as usual I was met with dozens of beautiful shots of Rocky Mountain National Park, “my” park. In “Storm Night” he captured sunset’s glow on a storm over Longs Peak (the highest in the park at 14,259 feet). Like most everything in the park, Longs is never twice the same. The seasons change, the weather changes, the clouds change. And most of all, the light changes. It’s the light that sets this image apart.
Beautiful light captured 🙂
Stensland is a master. So is Mother Nature.
