Yes, I forgot. Yesterday it never even crossed my mind to publish my favorite gif of all time:
I have lots of excuses, of course. I was watching, or trying to watch, the Olympics and trying to write something about them. At the same time I was working on taxes, sort of. And paying some bills. And keeping one eye on the front porch for an expected delivery.
Besides, Valentine’s Day doesn’t mean much anyway when there’s no romantic interest in one’s life.
A note on my calendar that it was Valentine’s Day didn’t ring any bells. And a “Happy Valentine’s Day” text from my sister didn’t jog my memory either. Not even once did I think “Publish that gif! It’s your tradition!”
This on top of my stated confusion about the Olympics telecasts … gee, you don’t suppose I’m getting old and forgetful …
