    1. Pray for us, MR. This clown is the head of the US Defense Department. He’s firing generals, admirals, women, career soldiers up for promotions, etc. Our most experienced, dedicated military people. Hell, we could put Jost in his place and Jost would do a better job.

  1. as soon as i saw your title….i knew. saw clips of this today and can’t wait for snl to do their take on it, as well as the craziest congressional event i’ve ever seen, yesterday

    1. All I remember seeing from yesterday was Zuckerberg standing next to Trump, smiling, and looking like he was about to swoon over his proximity to the king. I’ve thought for a very long time that Zuckerberg is a Class A creep, although it appeared yesterday that he’s now only one of many. “Yes, your majesty, under this morally binding agreement we will police ourselves” (unless our competitors seem to be getting ahead of us …)

      1. I so agree with all of this. When I saw them all sitting and standing there together, I was thinking of how many billions they had well not doing anything for the people that have nothing.

    1. Kathy, I do not doubt that most of the officer corps find Hegseth as repugnant as we do. As a retired Cdr. USN, I can tell you that you are unlikely to hear any negative talk from the active-duty officer corps. This is because ever since 1941 denial of promotion is as easy as saying one’s superiors have lost confidence in you. It’s called “up or out.” Even in retirement, political retribution is possible. Retired officers are subject to recall to active duty. There was an attempt by the Trump administration to cancel Mark Kelly’s retirement pay.

Go ahead, you can say it ...
