Screenwriter Aaron Sorkin’s dialogue is as good as it gets, in my opinion. And he does almost as well off-the-cuff in an interview. On the Colbert Report last night, talking about Facebook, he said:
“Socializing on the Internet is to socializing what reality tv is to reality.”
Impressive. I wish I could come up with stuff like that in the middle of a conversation. For all I know, it’s a quote from his new movie, The Social Network. But it doesn’t matter. The man has a way with words.
